Forchir, a fourth-generation estate in Udine, Friuli, stands at the crossroads of tradition and modernity. Pioneers in Friuli's commercial wine bottling, Forchir blends its rich history with cutting-edge technology, epitomized by a sleek, state-of-the-art winery. Under the stewardship of winemaker Gianfranco Bianchini, the estate's 230 hectares span diverse terroirs in Grave, Felettis di Bicinicco, Camino al Tagliamento, and Spilimbergo. Red grapes thrive in iron-rich clay, while alluvial gravels nurture iconic Friulian whites, celebrated for their mineral nuances. Forchir champions eco-conscious practices, generating all power from photovoltaic panels, earning a 'carbon-free' designation. Their wines, crafted with minimal intervention, embody varietal purity and a profound connection to the terroir.
