Gala Winery, helmed by esteemed winemaker Jaromír Gala, epitomizes Moravian viticulture traditions, crafting exceptional wines rooted in historical vineyards. Born into a winemaking family in South Moravia, Gala's viticultural journey began early, influenced by his familial heritage. After graduating from the Secondary School of Viticulture and Mendel University, Gala co-founded Tanzberg Mikulov Winery and garnered international experience in Austria, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, California, and Georgia. Focused on time-tested varieties, Gala accentuates the unique character of the Pálava region. The accolades speak volumes, with their 2015 Hermes Welschriesling earning a remarkable 98 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London in 2017.
